Shadow Entity Possession: 32 Witnesses, 10 Seconds, 1 True Story

This was a shadow entity possession happening right in front of us, and we were just standing there, watching, like it was some kind of live broadcast we couldn’t turn off.

First it was a shadow, just a shape. Then the shape became something with presence, something real. And then it stepped into Esra’s body. The whole thing happened in ten seconds.

Right after that, the change in Esra began. Her hair rose on its own, all at once. Then her eyes went pitch black.

Thirty-two people were witnessing this with their own eyes. Everyone kept looking at each other in disbelief. Nobody could make sense of what they were seeing.

Were we all losing our minds?

I had never come across anything like it before in my life.

I froze at the sight of Esra’s transformation. Then, suddenly, her left hand closed around my throat. She was choking me. Her grip was unbelievably strong.

She was strangling me. I couldn’t breathe. I tried to pull her hands off me, but I didn’t have the strength.

How could this even be happening? A slight, frail teenage girl, overpowering me like this? And now she was gripping me with her left hand — even though she normally used her right, and her left had always been the weak one. But in that moment it was like an iron claw.

One single thought crossed my mind: *Is this really how it ends for me?*

That was Ali, telling me about his past.

I’m Soline. The name Ali gave me — the shadow’s bride.

Years later, Ali ran into Esra again, at my house. As they talked about the old days, Esra told me how Ali had saved her.

This is their story.

“Ali, don’t summarize. Tell me from the beginning,” I said.

“Esra was fifteen, an intern. She worked at my company. I was around twenty-five at the time.

She was very attached to me — she looked up to me like family.”

The Day Everything Changed: Esra’s Transformation in 10 Seconds

“That morning she came into work like normal. But something was off. There was a shadow behind her — faint, barely there, but a shadow all the same.

Then the shadow became something with substance. It moved into her, suddenly. The two of them became one.

First her hair stood up. Then those eyes… Those eyes were pitch black. The kind of black that stops your blood cold.”

Esra started screaming. We tried to calm her down. We sat her on a stool. But Ali couldn’t hold her still.

“It was my business partner, two male staff members, and me. Four of us, trying to keep one girl sitting on a stool.

And she was so strong that, still sitting, she dragged four grown men two meters across the floor,” Ali said.

“Whoa, are you serious, Ali? Were the shadow entities I ran into that strong too?” I asked.

“Yes, Soline, they were strong too. But by then I had experience with you. With Esra, it was my first time. I had no idea what I was dealing with.

It was only as things unfolded that I understood what it actually was,” Ali said.

32 Witnesses: The Chilling Details of Esra’s Shadow Entity Possession

“So then what happened?” I asked.

“Then it got completely out of hand. The shadow entity was in full control of Esra’s body now. She’d become superhumanly strong.

She grabbed me by the throat — that thin, fragile girl. Picture it: barely five foot three, skinny. I’m five foot eleven, a hundred and seventy-two pounds.

She lifted me off the ground by the throat like I weighed nothing. My feet weren’t even touching the floor.

She was choking me. I couldn’t breathe.

I thought I was going to die. My whole life flashed in front of me. *Is this really how it ends,* I kept thinking.”

Ali went quiet for a moment, lost somewhere in the memory.

“Come on, why did you stop? Right at the most intense part,” I said.

He laughed. “You want some popcorn to go with this?”

Then he kept going.

Islamic Protection: How Ayat al-Kursi and the Adhan Drove the Entity Away

“Right as I thought I was about to die, the afternoon adhan started. The sound carried easily from the mosque into the shop.

Esra let go of my throat instantly, and I could breathe again.

But she was screaming now, shrieking: ‘Make that sound stop!’

The adhan was driving the entity out of its mind. That was the moment I understood exactly what we were dealing with,” Ali said.

“Why would a shadow entity react to the adhan?” I asked.

“Because what had taken over Esra’s body was a demonic entity,” Ali said.

“Like, Satan himself?” I asked.

“No, Satan is one thing, a demonic entity is another. What came for you, and what came for Esra, were both demonic entities. Esra had one inside her. There were three inside you.”

He paused again, drifting into the memory. Then he went on.

“Once the adhan ended, the entity came back to life. But by then I understood what it was. I started reciting Ayat al-Kursi.

The thing inside Esra was losing its mind with every verse.

We got her by the arms and legs and laid her out on the cafeteria table. It took every man there — each one pinning down an arm with both hands and a knee, while two more held down a single leg together between them. You wouldn’t believe how strong she was.

Everyone was shaking with fear. None of us knew what to do next.

For one second, the guys loosened their grip on her arm.

She sprang off the table and grabbed the butcher’s knife off the counter.

She lunged at me with it, meaning to kill me. I got out of the way on pure reflex. The blade only grazed my chest.”

“Ali, are you serious? Were you scared?” I asked.

He looked at me, almost startled by the question, and answered:

“Of course I was scared. It was my first time dealing with a shadow entity. It was trying to kill me through a girl it had taken over. And I had no idea what to do about it.”

They got Esra under control again. Ali stepped back from the table to think.

That’s when Esra asked for paper and a pen. Ali refused — with that thing inside her, he didn’t trust her with anything.

Then Esra dragged her finger across the table hard enough to cut it open, and wrote a message on the table in her own blood, Ali said.

Nervously, I asked, “What did she write, in blood?”

“This is what it said,” Ali told me:

“Ali, it wants you!”

“Are you serious? Why would it want you?” I asked.

“Soline, you’re really something, you know that? You’re sitting there so relaxed, like I’m telling you an adventure movie,” Ali said.

“What can I say, Ali. I’ve dealt with plenty of shadow entities myself — you showed me what they really look like, and you even threatened them yourself. It gave me confidence. Don’t be mad at me,” I said.

He looked at me with such warmth then. He put his hand on my face and smiled. I wanted time to just stop right there.

“Wait, let me go grab some sunflower seeds, and then keep going,” I said, laughing.

“I admire your confidence,” he said, smiling.

“Well, I’ve got someone like you looking out for me — of course I’m confident,” I said.

Ali wasn’t smiling anymore. Those days had left a mark that was still with him.

“Ali, if it’s painful, don’t tell me the rest,” I said.

“No, it’s fine — let me finish,” he said.

Then Esra reached out and touched Murat’s, Ali’s business partner’s, face with her hand.

“I know exactly what you’ve been up to too. But I won’t touch you,” Esra said to Murat.

“Right — it was the entity talking through her,” Ali said.

“So how did your partner react?”

Ali burst out laughing.

“What? Why are you laughing?” I asked.

“You’ll laugh too once I tell you.”

Right then, the women in the shop caught a foul smell. Ali said it was like the sewer line had burst — the whole place reeked.

“Oh — was it the same sulfur smell I’ve smelled before?” I asked.

“No, wait, hold on. You’ll be laughing once you hear this,” Ali said.

I stayed quiet, and he kept going.

“First I noticed a wet patch on the floor. Then the staff started laughing.

I asked what was going on, and they pointed at Murat.

The sight of him was pathetic.

My partner Murat had been so scared he’d shit himself. His pants were soaked through,” Ali said.

I started laughing.

“Wait, he just wet himself?” I asked.

“No — he’d flat-out shit himself from fear,” Ali said.

I couldn’t hold it in. I was in a full laughing fit, couldn’t stop.

That’s when Liv walked into the garden. She’d been staying with me for a few days, visiting from Belgium — an old university friend.

“What are you two laughing about? I could hear you from outside, Soline,” Liv said.

“Ali was telling an old story of his. It’s terrifying and hilarious at the same time,” I said.

“As bad as my black-eyed children story?” Liv asked.

“Honey, trust me, the black-eyed children thing is nothing next to this. Let me sum it up for you,” I said.

Once I gave her the short version, Liv started laughing too.

“Now I’m curious too, Ali — keep going,” Liv said.

“What is this, some kind of movie I’m narrating? Look how relaxed you two are about all this,” Ali said.

We just laughed. Ali continued:

“My partner Murat was a bit of a flirt. He’d hit on the girls at work sometimes, and it caused friction between us more than once.

You both know I can’t stand that kind of behavior, and I don’t allow it.

We found Murat a spare work coverall. He cleaned himself up in the bathroom, managed to get a proper wash, and put the coverall on.

And then he strutted back out like nothing had happened, still showing off for the girls,” Ali said.

“What kind of man does that? Humiliated himself and he’s still showing off?” I said.

“Hold on, wait for it. I taught him a real lesson after that,” Ali said.

He kept going.

“The girls always used to compliment Murat’s backside, and he’d brag about it constantly, going on and on about how big it was.”

Liv and I burst out laughing.

“A grown man bragging about the size of his own backside? Is he an idiot?” I said.

Ali continued:

“I was already on edge over the whole Esra situation, and Murat bragging about his backside pushed me right over.

‘Murat, your backside must really be something, because you just managed to fill your pants with it out of fear. Congratulations,’ I told him.”

He paused for a moment, then told me about the second thing he said to Murat:

“‘Are you actually an idiot? Esra is in this state and all you can think about is showing off for girls. Are you trying to hit a new low in stupidity?

I’m here trying to figure out how to save Esra, and you’re worrying about nonsense,’ I told him,” Ali said.

“Good for you, well said. Your partner really was an idiot,” Liv said.

“Total idiot,” I agreed.

Ali went on:

“Murat mentioned that his family knew a sorcerer, a hoca.

I didn’t question it for a second. All I could think about was Esra — I was desperate. It was the first time I’d ever dealt with anything like this.

I didn’t have a choice, so I agreed.

The hoca lived far away. My car wasn’t working, so I called a taxi.

Me, my manager, my partner, and Esra all got in. Murat sat up front with the driver. Esra was in the back seat, between my manager and me. It was a solid four-hour drive,” Ali said.

“Ali, weren’t you scared, sitting right next to Esra the whole way? Didn’t she attack you? And that four-hour taxi ride must have cost a fortune, no?” I asked.

“It cost a small fortune, yes. But it was worth it if it meant Esra would be okay.

I kept reciting Ayat al-Kursi the whole way. The thing inside Esra was going out of its mind, but it couldn’t do anything because of the prayer,” Ali said.

“Ali, why do shadow entities react to the adhan, and what is Ayat al-Kursi? Why does reciting it stop them?” Liv asked.

“Liv, sweetheart, you and Soline are Christian — I’m Muslim. It’s completely normal that you don’t know this.

Some shadow entities are demonic — purely evil beings that serve Satan. They flee the moment they hear the adhan.

Ayat al-Kursi is verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah in the Holy Qur’an. When I recite it, I’m asking Allah/God for help. Within those verses are hidden, unseen benevolent beings — call them a spiritual army. I called on them for help. That army is what holds the entities back,” Ali said.

“Oh, how beautiful — a spiritual army, that’s fascinating. Does it protect anyone who recites it?” Liv asked.

“It comes down to turning to Allah/God with a sincere heart. You’re not really asking the spiritual army for help — you’re reciting that verse to ask Allah/God, and Allah/God sends His hidden army.

But there are conditions. If someone has committed a serious sin and is under some kind of spiritual consequence for it, they won’t be helped,” Ali said.

Anyway, four hours later, we reached a village. The hoca was standing at his door.

He fixed his eyes on me, staring in this strange, unsettling way. I didn’t like it at all.

“One person comes inside with Esra. The rest wait outside,” the hoca said.

“My partner jumped forward. ‘I’ll go,’ he said,” Ali told me.

“Wait, what? Where did your coward of a partner suddenly find that kind of courage?” I asked.

“It struck me as strange too — him being the one to soil himself from fear, then suddenly volunteering to go in. That, and the way the hoca kept looking at me,” Ali said.

“So how did you trust this hoca you’d never even met?” I asked.

“Soline, I wasn’t as lucky as you were. When it happened to you, I was right there with you — I got you out of it. But with Esra, it was my first time facing anything like this at all.

Honestly, I didn’t have a choice. All I cared about was saving her,” Ali said.

He continued:

“Before that day, I had no experience with any of this, no knowledge at all.

An hour later, they came back out. Esra seemed fine again. But something in me was sounding an alarm. Something felt off. My gut kept telling me something was wrong.

My partner and the hoca kept glancing at me with this smug little smile.

We went back to the shop. Esra seemed completely fine by then,” Ali said.

The Real Target: Why Esra Was Just a Bridge to Ali

“Ali, why couldn’t they take me over, but they got Esra?” I asked.

“Soline, your spirit was strong. And there was also… I don’t know how to put this… something specific to women,” Ali said.

“Ali, don’t hold back, just tell me,” I said.

“When you were attacked, it wasn’t your time of the month. A frequency gap had opened up in you, but you weren’t in that vulnerable window. Esra’s spirit was already weak, and on top of that, she was on her period. And that entity — someone had sent it to her deliberately,” Ali said.

Liv and I both went silent. My voice shaking, I asked, “Why does that matter — her period?”

“The scent of blood, Soline. Menstrual blood carries a different signature. It’s when you’re at your most vulnerable,” Ali said.

“So is that the only reason it was Esra?” I asked.

“No, Soline. Esra was only a bridge. The hoca is the one who sent that entity to her,” Ali said.

“Ali, I’m confused — why would he do that?” I asked.

Ali paused. His eyes welled up slightly. Then he answered:

“Esra was only ever a way to get to me.

I was the real target, Soline.

I’d been led into a trap, Soline. A massive one.

Everything I had lived through up to that point was just the trailer.

The real story was only just beginning.”

 What is shadow entity possession?

Shadow entity possession happens when a dark, formless presence takes control of a person’s body and mind, as seen in Esra’s case, witnessed by 32 people.

How many people witnessed this shadow entity possession?

This shadow entity possession was witnessed live by exactly 32 people in the workplace where Esra worked.

Why did the shadow entity possession react to the adhan?

During this shadow entity possession, the entity reacted violently to the adhan because it was a shayatin (demonic) presence that flees at the sound of the Islamic call to prayer.

Can Ayat al-Kursi stop a shadow entity possession?

In this shadow entity possession, reciting Ayat al-Kursi repeatedly weakened the entity’s control and kept it from fully overpowering the situation.

Was Esra the real target of this shadow entity possession?

No — this shadow entity possession later revealed that Esra was only a bridge, and the real target was Ali himself.
