Soline: The Bride of Shadows — Chapter 4: Are Black Eyed Children Real?
soline(EN)
Black eyed children are a mystery most people never solve in their lifetime. For me, they are familiar territory. That night, it was Soline and Liv’s turn — and it was standing in the garden, waiting.
—
Are Black Eyed Children a Modern Urban Legend or a Real Paranormal Phenomenon?
It was 1:30 in the morning when Soline and Liv started screaming.
I ran to them. Soline was shaken — surprised, even, despite everything she had already been through. But Liv was different. She was silent. A deep, strange silence. Fear was there in her eyes, but no sound came out. As if she couldn’t bring herself to put what she had seen into words.
“Soline, what happened?”
“Ali… there’s a child in the garden. It said it wants to come inside. When I saw its eyes, I got scared.”
I looked outside. Carefully.
It was true.
A child stood in the garden. Black hair. Black, hollow eyes. No whites — just darkness, deep and absolute, as if the eyes were absorbing light rather than reflecting it. Around eight years old. Completely still.
This was a black eyed children encounter.
I called out through the window.
“Welcome, child.”

Why Are There No Clear Photos or Videos of Black Eyed Children?
Soline grabbed her phone, opened the camera, took the shot.
Then her face changed.
“Ali… it didn’t show up in the photo. How is that possible?”
“It’s not possible to photograph them, Soline,”* I said. *”In every black eyed children encounter, no one has ever captured a clear image. Their frequency is different. You can only detect their energy form with specialized equipment — or sometimes as a light distortion. Like a shooting star.”
“But it’s right there. I can see it.”
“You can see it because it wants you to. That form is a choice. You could touch it. But you can’t photograph it. They can take any shape they want — what you’re looking at is not their true form. It’s what they decided to show you.”
Soline looked at the blank screen again.
—
Who Are the Black Eyed Children?
“So who are they really?” Soline asked.
“Sometimes older entities take the form of a child. Sometimes it genuinely is one of their young. It’s difficult to tell the difference — you can only know when they shift form. Until then, it’s impossible.”
Soline thought about this.
Liv was still silent. That same deep, strange silence.
—
Are Black Eyed Children Connected to Other Paranormal Beings?
“Are they different from the other entities?”* Soline asked. *”Are they connected?”
“They’re not so different, Soline. Just like humans, they have different races. Structural differences, differences in power, and the distinction between good and evil.”
“For example?”
“There are hybrid entities — a cross between a plasma-state being and a gas-state being. Those are the most dangerous. They come only to harm humans. They despise us. They have a demonic nature — but they are not demons.”
“Then there are those that exist entirely in a gas state. Weaker, smaller. Different races, different beliefs among them. Some are good, some are evil. Some are simply mischievous.”
—
Why Are Black Eyed Children Mostly Seen at Night?
“Why do they come at this hour?” Soline asked.
“Simple. The day belongs to us. The night belongs to them. After sunset their power grows. From 2:00 AM until dawn — that is when they are strongest.”
“They appear during the day as well. But at night they are something else entirely. Scientifically, sunlight benefits us and weakens them. From a spiritual perspective, the night is their realm. This is why people in older times never went outside alone after dark. Never let their children out. If they had no choice, they never went alone.”
—
Why Do Black Eyed Children Always Ask to Come Inside?
Soline had been thinking. I could feel it.
“There’s something I don’t understand,”* she said. *”They’ve been disturbing me for months. So why did one come in the form of a child now? Why does it want to come inside? They were already here.”
I smiled.
“This one has nothing to do with what’s been disturbing you, Soline. Those are a different kind. You invited them — through meditation, you opened the door yourself.”
“This one is from a different kind entirely. Same situation as what attached itself to you — but this time the door isn’t open. They cannot enter without permission. And permission, most of the time, comes from a person’s own mistake. It’s a deep subject. Many layers to it.”
—
What Happens If Someone Lets Black Eyed Children In?
“What would have happened if I had let it in?”* Soline asked. *”Would it be like the ones that came through meditation?”
“No. Those are a different category entirely — an extremely powerful race. They don’t struggle to enter homes. They arrive through sin and accumulated error, and they slowly push the person they attach to toward destruction.”
“Black eyed children are different. If you had let it in — objects move on their own. The home becomes restless. It becomes unlivable in a short time.”
—
Do Black Eyed Children Target Specific People?
I noticed Liv was hiding something.
“Liv,”* I said. *”What do you think about all of this?”
Liv said something in French. Soline had to translate.
“Ali, I’ve read a lot about black eyed children. David Weatherly, Rosemary Ellen Guiley — theoretical research. Barry Fitzgerald writes about them living in caves, but it feels incomplete. But you talk about them like you’re narrating a film. Like someone who has actually lived alongside them and knows every detail.”
Soline burst into laughter.
“Honey, there’s nothing Ali hasn’t experienced. He’s been dealing with the entities attached to me for a month. He also sees their true forms, their actual dimension. Once he mocked a female one — told her she was ugly and not his type. Who knows what else he hasn’t told us.”
—
What Is the True Meaning of the Black Eyed Children?
“Has anyone ever stopped to think,” I said, “about who lived on this earth before us? And more importantly — how friendly are they toward us?”
The room went quiet.
“We are facing a reality that science cannot yet prove. What if these beings want what they once had — dominion over this world? What could we possibly do against something we cannot even touch?”
—
Are Governments Aware of Black Eyed Children?
“Does the world know about these beings?” Soline asked.
“Ordinary people don’t. But governments — intelligence agencies — they know. They’ve always known. One day it will be disclosed. Until then, every encounter gets filed as a psychological case. After that, scientists will finally admit these beings exist.”

What Lessons Can We Learn From Encounters With Black Eyed Children?
Soline looked at Liv.
“Don’t be afraid. Ali is here, he’ll protect you. That’s why I’m calm — worse things disturbed me, and Ali got me through it.”
“Ali, tell her one of your stories,” Soline said.
I thought for a moment.
“It was years ago. I had rented an old building — six shops, iron bars on every window and door. No one could get inside. Around 3:00 AM, a girl of about six was sitting on a chair in the corridor.”
“I got out of bed and walked over to her. I placed my hand on her head. ‘Child, who are you? How did you get in?’ I said. She turned and looked into my eyes.”
“I understood immediately what she was.”
“She was one of the black eyed children.”
Liv asked: “Why had she come?”
“Someone who wanted to harm me — a shaman working against me — had sent her.”
“What did you do?” Liv asked.
“What was there to do? I went back to bed and slept like a baby.”
Soline collapsed into laughter. Her laughter filled the entire room. Madam Beatrice woke up from the noise upstairs.
Liv stared, genuinely confused: “How did you sleep — weren’t you afraid at all?”
“Why would I be afraid? Let her be afraid of me. She couldn’t enter the room anyway. I had been praying and reciting verses from the Quran in that room — there was a protective shield around it.”
“The next day, she came back with her father and another adult.”
Soline was still laughing. Liv stood there, mouth open.
—
The room slowly settled into silence.
I walked to the window and looked outside — a long, deep look into the dark.
Then I turned to Liv.
“Liv… I now understand why this black eyed children encounter happened tonight.”
Liv waited.
“This child came for you. The opening in you — that’s what drew it here.”
Liv’s color drained instantly. White as a sheet.
The room froze.
“Ask yourself first, Liv.”
“Why did that child come for you — and not for me. Not for Soline.”
